Off Topic OT: Computer Game Thread!

I started a new career (as manager rather than player this time) and took over Forest. Started to build a steady little side that was doing well but still outside the playoffs. However, I got offered the Rennes job around November and jumped ship. Managed to climb about six places in the league to finish about eighth but also won the cup. Now have a 4.5 star side and currently sit second in the league <diva>

DId you deviate from the usual players bought?

Because I am online now, I updated the squads so they were slightly different anyway. Still loaned Adryan for Forest before moving. When I got to Rennes, I bought Boniperti and Casemiro. Rest were deviated <ok>

any good bargain players or palyers who are working out well?

I like Fabian, Aloisio who I bought for my M'Gladbach campaign.

Because I've been online, I acquired the super scout so, plus I'd got a couple of promising youngsters anyway including Mavinga. I bought Llori and Pierre; he got 37 in his one and only season with me at Rennes, sold him for £30m to PSG because I needed cash <ok>

I won the League, Cup and Europa League with Rennes. Tried to get another job for ages and no one would accept my application but then, after trying for ages I got offered a job and I took it, problem was, it felt dirty and I couldn't do it so I quit...Man Utd! <laugh>

Started a new career in League Two with Torquay Utd <ok>

Couple of things that have annoyed me with my current season is tha job offers. I am getting internationals from the likes of France, Germany, Uruguay,etc and I haven't won a thing yet, done well, but not won much. Club wise Liverpool, Tottenham, and Leverkusen have come for me but again, what have I won? wish it was a bit more realistic with that.

Also bought Bruma from Sporting, grows very fast and can get him at about 5 mil early in the game. Gets to about 87.
 
I find its the other way. Win either all or most that I can and only get offers from the ****ter nations (not that I take them, my game still crashes if I do). Can't get a club job for ****, usually have to drop down to change clubs.

PS...after playing online a lot, I find the computer a bit easier. On world class all the time now, beat Inter and Chelsea to win EL. Lost 1-0 to PSG in league though (silly defensive error)

On B Ops 2 does anyone know how to join a league? I cant find the option but I havent downloaded any of the stuff so dont know if this makes a difference? Im on Xbox
 
Going to give FIFA another try picked up FIFA 12 for £4 see if I can get into it!

Ive not got the actual option to press league play in multi player menu so my guess is I have to download one of the things they keep getting you to download

I have got the option, just never noticed it. Ive only had the game a yr ffs

Playing Arkham City now and feel this will get me to the August September area once I complete it and loads of new stuff will be out. Plus gives more time for Bioshock Infinite to keep dropping in price ( New DLC for Bioshock dropped today).
 
This is why I find career mode on Fifa annoying. I took over Torquay and I'm in my first season. The only creation I have done is myself (always preferred the player-manager mode but they got rid of it <doh>). Look at how good my League Two side is, I could win the Championship with the team!!! <doh>
