Recently started to play FM13, first season I started with the current team (inc. Iago Aspas + Kolo Toure - used LFC marshal's update)
Outgoing:
Downing for £8m to Spurs (loaned him back in January, only paid £20,000 a week contribution for his wages

)
Brad Jones for around £1m or less
Loaned out Coates, Ilori, Suso, Pacheco, Yesil and Jordan Ibe
Also sold a few other useless players to knock income from transfers to around £11m
Incoming:
Papa for £16.25m
Strootman for £11.25m
Henri for £17.5m
Mark Schwarzer on a free
Luis Alberto for around £4m
Tiago Ilori for around £1-3m
Diame for £3.5m
Aly Cissokho for £5.25m
Modibo Diakite for £2.8m (January)
Expenditure may seem extreme with a net of around £50m spent but Strootman and Henri fees were not paid upfront (possibly a few others too).
Won the league title in first season, complete fluke, drew Arsenal on the last day in a match where the winner clinched the title (luckily I was 3 points ahead but my goal difference wasn't good enough to insure against a loss). Also beat Chelsea in the FA cup final.
Second season -
Incoming:
Eriksen for £10m
Adriano on a free transfer (the veteran Brazillian on a pay as you play deal)
Robinho on a loan (I pay £22,500 of his £160,000+ wages, can sign him at any point for around £6.5m)
Mignolet for £5.5m
Diego Ospina on a free, immediately moved on for under £1m as we brought in Mignolet
A few youngsters for less than £1m
Outgoing:
Modibo Diakite for £9.5million to Man City
Shelvey is likely to leave with PSG, AS Monaco, Swansea, West Brom and Norwich all interested
Possibly selling Diame with Arsenal and Borussia interested and willing to pay £14m
Possibly selling Aly Cissokho to AS Monaco for around £9m
Second season is tough, I'm expecting to seal another Champions League place, possibly challenging for the title but not expecting to win with City and Chelsea injecting around £100m in transfers and United+Arsenal strengthening. I want to reach the knockout stages of the CL, whilst playing attacking football and promoting some younger players into the first team, still have around £25m-35m transfer budget and expecting to make a profit for this transfer window
