Dunno if any of you losers ever play Total war strategy games...

Medieval war II total war with third age mod + MOS mod.

Brilliant lord of the rings total conversion.

PC obviously not for ****ty consoles.

Loved the older Total War games. The original Rome Total War is my absolute favourite of the series. Dated now but still good.

Can't wait for Battlefront. Horribly generic FPS but hey it's to a star wars soundtrack and you get to be Darth Vader or fly the millennium falcon....works for me!

Just got Xenonauts from Humble Bundle.

It's an indie clone of the original x-com. Captures the spirit and strategy of the original better than Firax's remake XCOM.

I won't say it's a better game than XCOM:Enemy Within, but it's closer to the original x-com in style... Base building is back.

Strategywise it is much better than XCOM. Graphicswise it is pretty lame. 2d Isometric. Not very flashy.

Still I'm enjoying it and throwing it out there if anyone likes turn-based-strategy games. Humble Bundle been running for a while so probably only good a few more days.

Well that proves you know your total war games, Rome is the best, of the official games.
    The followup was disappointing

Medieval II is better graphics than Rome and the Third Age + MOS mods blow Rome out of the water. :D Seriously.

I may give it a go after completing xenonauts... If I don't give up... That game is hard.

Also need to go back to Prison Architect. They have added a new mode where you can take over a convict and try escaping from the prisons you built... Looks fun.

That does look like an epic slaughter. Online gaming sucks though, too many douche bags, I miss the days of 20 PCs wedged into a medium size room, a room set to broil with all the computers and sweating meat bags :D

Found a great deal for a PS4 - 1TB plus FIFA 16. Including vouchers I have, comes to approx £250. Worth it?

Its with Argos - the original deal at Argos is the package for £300 (console and FIFA)

I get to buy vouchers at a 7% discount plus I get another £35 through my Barclaycard points rewards.

  13. I'd seen that deal already, that's the best offer including Fifa I've seen <ok>

If you want a PS4 then yes. I'm a cheapskate so I'm waiting for games to become "cheaper"

I'm with you there and will wait until Xbone is about £180 with a game before buying.

  15. I don;t think they will ever get that low prior to the next consoles being realised. A XBox 360 is still about that now.

I'm sure they will after this xmas, we'll see I suppose. I'll get one because I want Witcher 3 and Fallout 4.

  17. I only play three games; Fifa, GTA and Gran Turismo / Forza Racing (rarely). I do get others but I don't play them that much. Hence me wanting "cheaper" games

You know. Looks familiar. I might have downloaded that mod towards the end of playing it when I was TW'ed out. I will give it a go at some point. When I get the TW but again... I do once or twice a year.

Loving Xenonauts. Spent most of the night playing it (on pseudofed for cold-one pill in the AM keeps me wired for 48hrs).

Took a few hours of gameplay to get into it because the graphics are so dull and the art so dreary. The gameplay is fantastic though and so much like the original x-com from the 90s just updated for a more modern experience. Brilliant game.

Did a dumbass mistake expanding bases too quick. Built a base in Asia but didn't wait till I had funds to staff it with soldiers. Aliens came and destroyed it. That's $700,000 I'll never see again... Take me (in game) months to be aford to rebuild. :(
