It is not online all the time but still a check in once a day? Something like that.
No you don't need to connect any more, just once to set up the console then it's like usual

ah well that explains what i've read. i too was furious when i found out you had to have a daily connection, not that i don't i just didn't see the point.

Still **** having to connect when setting up. Not everyone has internet
If you don't have internet then you'll be missing out on a lot more because of the lack of cloud resources, multiplayer, and xbox live games than having to deal with a one time patch download.

I have mine connected, just think its **** that a games console (designed for playing games on) requires an internet connection.

Think the ps3 version will run smooth, no problems. Think ps4 with the new system may have a few hiccups but nothing like the jump from ps2 to ps3. Remember the FIFA and PES when that jump was made? It was so ****ing slow!!!!!

I only had a problem when i took over a national team, roughly eighteen months after taking the job.
Hmm any new career mode things with the game. Isnt something like overall taken away?

I think the player and manager mode should be combined again. Was gutted when I started a career for the first time on the 2013 version only to find they'd scratched it. Maybe combine them in a slightly different way; play as a player but when you reach you 30's you get job offer to be a player-manager before becoming just a manager around 35?
