Most of the Chinese students are no bother, although I have saw a massive cultural change with them in the 21 years I have worked at the university. One time you never ever saw them pissed. However these days it is a regular occurrence and that includes the lasses..

Europe has just voted on a policy to phase out natural gas as a household fuel for heating and cooking, it's a greenhouse policy that is aimed at reducing global warming. @MrRAWhite will be impressed no doubt with the intentions.

Nothing to do with making Russia's biggest export redundant then?

They're doing everything to anger Putin... it'll be interesting to see how he'll react to this.

I like gas cookers. Much faster to cook food with. Electric ones suck ass.

I think having electric boilers would be far more safer than gas boilers especially with the flue pipes and **** like that.

Who is going to pay for all these boiler and electric cooker changes? That's going to cost a thousands per household!.

As for the chinese, pretty sickening with the destruction of the coral but the chinese for some reason have an obsession with anything that is rare and endangered.

It'll be a government incentive mate, probably a scrappage scheme of some sort involved.

I prefer gas also, I have a duel fuel at the minute, with a gas burner griddle for steaks... almost brand new, it was my mum's but then she moved to an electric only house and let me have it... I can't cook for ****.

Heating is the big one, replacing radiators, underfloor heating panels, houses having to be re plumbed from top to bottom... I can't see it myself, not for a long time anyhow.

And where's all the electricity to come from? We can barely produce enough now as it is.

I don't mind the Chinese, but they all have an issue with invading personal space and walking into roads without looking where they're going.

If we keep up the global warming those new islands of theirs will be back under water in no time. In the meantime, the yanks have an opportunity of getting some more military bases off the Phillippines Govt. so they'll no doubt big it up.

We just find them rolling about near the halls of residence. Following them down the town to see what bars they are drinking in is not in my remit...Yet:emoticon-0130-devil

Had a dreadful experience with the ****ers two summers ago, in Santorini. It's like some anti-holiday scientist has blended the worst possible German, Japanese & American group of tourists together, yet they only speak some quasi-Mandarin with their mouths full. Rude bastards.

I asked a Chinese lass out years ago. She only had Monday night off so arranged to meet her at the flix, the ABC in the town.
What I wasnt expecting was her father turning up with a big f*cking meat cleaver he used in the takeaway telling me in no uncertain terms to get away and leave his daughter alone.
After a swift kick to his town halls and dropping him like a sack of spuds I decided to comply with his request and never went back in there.

I have no time for the Chinese.

Any race which is so thick as to believe that killing a rhino for a shag is beyond home.

As if they need any help to breed, there's billions of them.

I have met a few decent Chinese, but some utter ****ers too. But their general abuse of the planet is appalling. There'll be nee sharks left if they don't stop eating that daft soup and change their ways.
