my girls are into my little pony, playing with the figures/horses etc, but they don't watch it on telly, they prefer Peppa pig, Garfield etc.

I enjoy watching it with her though (In the Night Garden) as like I say she gets really excited (9 month old) and the plots usually easy to follow

Whats those random birds on it though? Its all pretty barmy but the birds are very random <laugh>

you still all drugged up on strong painkillers or am i thinking of someone else? would explain why you enjoy it <whistle>

think in the night garden (could include Simpsons i suppose) is the new Magic roundabout we used to have.

<laugh> that was me yes

Or could be flashbacks from other things <whistle>

Simpsons most definitely for adults though, or more say 6 year old as then you think its all about Bart

But now its all about Homer for me

Like Family Guy, American Dad, South Park are all obv for adults

All great though

Please don't derail the thread, this thread is about pretty pink ponies, don't ruin it.

I watch My Little Pony all the time (I have young children and a netflix account set up for the US catalogue) and while I wouldn't consider myself a Brony, I would say it is far better than most other cartoons aimed at children (this is when you look at aspects like the writing, animation & stories) If you watch it you'll notice little nods to the adults as well as the children. Reddit seem to house quite a few bronies although I don't subscribe to r/bronies so I guess I'm ok

Almost identical story... my two girls always watching this on Netflix.

I try to avoid watching kids shows... but this actually amongst the better ones. Not quite so cheesy... decent humour, etc... much more wholesome than the boy crazed slut shows that Disney specialises in for young girls now. Tangent: why does Disney have to put excessive makeup and whore-suits on every 12 year old girl they employ?

Back to Ponies... I've noticed my son watching it when girls are... he tries to pretend he isn't but busts out laughing at the jokes.

Its a pretty cute show. Better than 99% of the crap my kids watch. (Disney channel now blocked fwiw)

The way you lot are talking it up I think I'm going to start watching it myself.

not me saint,

my girls watch and love Dr Who and they are 3 (4 tom) and 7. in fact i live in a house with 3 females and i am the only one who doesn't watch it, i must be the weirdo lol.

Gerrez has started watching it, but only because he misunderstood what they meant by "My Little Pony".
