Sadly mate I have to disagree, it could well be one or more of our own doing it. I've come across some right knuckle draggers in my time. An ex girlfriend of one of my mates was openly racist about the African carers that looked after her grandmother, a woman I used to work with would avoid dealing with black or Asian people because she didn't like "them" (she would almost spit it out when she said it), a lad I used to know would put photos on Facebook of him having a meal in various Indian restaurants followed up by posts going on about p@kis and r@gheads. And these are reputedly respectable people.
They hide among the rest of us, generally keeping a low profile until they feel brave enough or protected enough to come out with this ****e and think they can get away with it, otherwise they'll cling to their circle of like minded scum to say it together.
I can only hope that if it is any of ours, they're in very small numbers and are identified quickly and dealt with fully.
But, since Musk took over twitter and turned it into a free for all, racists have been emboldened to put out what ever they feel like because they think they'll get away with it by not being traced (there's loads of bot and fake accounts set up now).

It’s just that Mundle isn’t the only one to report it over the weekend and it looked like an orchestrated move by some arseholes to cause trouble. I hope they work out who’s responsible, ban them from attending matches and hit them hard through the law courts with appropriate punishment.

Not saying it comes from the Indian subcontinent because I have no idea but Alcohol (or drugs) + Gambling/Losing money definitely have a big part to play more often than not. Still no excuse but no doubt it’s a young lad who’s going to learn the hard way. If he was employed, he won’t be for long.

I can GUARANTEE what I saw and heard growing up on social media as a teenager 15-20 years ago was a hell of a lot worse than anything you see now. There was no profanity filters, reporting to employers, police knocking at doors for hate speech etc. We saw people having body parts cut off with chainsaws, people stabbing random folk in the face with screwdrivers, the most abhorrent targeted verbal abuse you will read by little dorks who could find out your personal details easily and threaten to r*pe your mother, threaten to do such and such to other family members etc.
So why aren’t loads of 30-40 year olds running round saying these things and blaming it on their exposure to social media as a teenager?
It’s just ****ty excuses because we live in a generation of **** parents who are scared to parent through sheer laziness or because it’s easier to blame things like ADHD. People think shouting at your child is abuse, telling them no or actually knowing what your child is getting upto online is an infringement of their rights etc.

I have known people for decades as friends, who have then came out and said something racially abhorrent, which totally shocked me. Needless to say they need a better education and understanding of other cultures and religions.
Romaine missed what looked like a good chance last night, but it did not look so simple when I saw the replay. We paid for that miss with poor defending from a corner, then a dubious free kick leading to the penalty. The whole team did not perform well last night, should they all also be abused for their performances?
