I've been single for about 2 and half years, with a couple of no-strings arrangements in that time. On at least two occasions I'm aware of women have found me attractive but have told my mates that my '****-off attitude' is too much. I wasn't even aware I had a ****-off attitude! Must just be a miserable 85-year old in a 22-year olds body.
I'm also terrible for getting into the friend zone, I made the fatal error of moving into a house in second year of uni with 4 girls and just one other guy. I was desperate to pork one of the girls in particular, but living together is the final nail in the friend zone coffin

I should get back into the dating game soon (not as if I was ever really in it), been about 5 months since my ex chucked me (fat bitch) so want to find some new clunge, sadly summer is coming up and I live miles away from civilisation so not much hope of that!

Ah, I lived in a house with just three other girls for a year. One was a lesbian, one wasn't my type and one didn't seem to me to have much interest in the dating scene and I imagine it would be somewhat awkward if I was to try anything with her.
Also the fact that I'm ridiculously shy doesn't help. I asked out for drinks one of the girls at the gym the other day and it was only the second time I'd asked a girl out in person (and the first time the girl in question didn't realise I was asking her out) but alas she had a boyfriend, was flattered though.

Be proud you've actually had the balls to ask somebody out! I've only ever done it once and it was a banker, the prospect of asking somebody out when it isn't a banker terrifies me.
