I'll say it again, I never saw Immers have a good game, let alone a great one.

Wont be missed, if it's cost us to get rid I think they'd have made him stay till the summer. I think he probably does just want out and his agent almost certainly already has options at least as good as us for him.

Meitie is quick isn't he? Doesn't matter if he's rough around the edges it'll transform us tactically having the option of a genuinely quick front player.

Must agree with this assessment of Immers. He got on the end of a few balls to score, notably against Brighton, but that was about the extent of it to be honest.

Halford yesterday was atrocious. Not only his ridiculous hair but his fitness and general footballing ability. Why has NW signed him?

As for Immers, a great disappointment after looking so good when on loan.

Didn't see the game other than the last 30 mins when Halford went off so can't speak for him. Don't know how recently he played for Rotherham so lack of match fitness, new club/players around him, new system maybe. He has always been a strong defender and knows the division so we should give him a little time - but not too much. Also, Colin knows him and obviously likes him (particularly his versatility) as a player as with Bamba and Hoilett.

Immers has a track record of impressing early and then tailing off so I wasn't surprised at his failings this season and best for all he moved on.

For me Halford was unexpected and a typical Slade type of signing. He knew him previoulsy like Slade knew Revell (both from Rotherham as well as it happens) and thought it was a good (cheap?) idea at the time.

If we're to get anywhere near the top half of this division we need far better thinking outside the box. It will take better quality than that and that will take money.

To me Halford is a short term decision and brought in as back up with Manga heading to the ACN and possibly out the door himself. Signing only on a year and a half contract, decent back up? Time will tell.

Snow and Arctic conditions forecast for later this week. <yikes>

Don't know if that would affect any football

Read that this morning remote but the significant oart of the article was.......

"Thus the options were limited. Cardiff needed to get Immers off the wage bill, he wanted to play regular football, so the deal was done with Brugge.

The Belgian side take over Immers' wages, but as a bonus they get him for nothing."

Looks like we didn't have to "pay him off" and Brugge just took on his contract.

I have to say I am totally underwhelmed by this transfer window in general and City's involvement in it.

Chasing an unheard of scots winger and releasing Immers oh plus getting in a non league forward to play in the development squad and an unfit tattooed journeyman with dodgy highlights.

Have I missed anything?

18 days to go.
