Poor lad didn't hit puberty til 16 either. That makes it all ok I guess.
Presumably the lass had hit puberty. Which makes all the people and newspapers who refer to him as a *****phile ill informed and incorrect.
and doesn't change the fact he groomed an underage girl in the full knowledge that she was 15 (just).
Judge is half way through sentencing, currently slagging him off for not changing to a guilty plea earlier and putting the girl through unnecessary distress, says he's entitled to no more than a 10% reduction in his sentence because of his late guilty pleas.
Not when she's not able to provide legal consent no. That's why we have these laws, to stop people taking advantage of immature impressionable people.
He's been made an example of there.
The case below is far worse and got a third of the sentence.
