Looks like a group trying to get their involvement to arms length or beyond.

I think their silence on the subject of how much of the detail they knew could be revealing.

They attended the meeting with Sunderland so know about the texts and the kissing. Whether they asked for Johnson to be reinstated I don't know.

They will put on some courses and hope, with fingers crossed, there isn't a next time. We'll see if they think his sentence is harsh and do anything about it. I suspect they'll bottle that.

The PFA can't do anything about the sentence he gets, nor will they want to, they'll avoid him like the plague.

Aye, I know what you mean. They seem to have supported their member this far (fnaar) but they now seem to want to be more seen to do the right thing, so possibly they'll run courses, and leave him to use his wealth to fund any appeal alone.

The PFA can do plenty if they wanted to. I see you agree they'd bottle it though.

It's **** all to do with bottling anything, he groomed an underage girl, they won't go near it even if he got life.

They could quite well of had that information when they were representing him with the club. If they didn't, they should have had it.

There's a maximum sentence for the texts he sent and it's nowhere near life.

They'll do the easy thing, not necessarily the right thing.

Obviously, I just mean they won't be remotely interested in what sentence he gets.

Aye, I agree, but given they should have known at least as much as Sunderland knew, that easy option will have to look right.

    Right now, they're looking tainted.

Although the book was banned by the do-gooders as "Racist" you might get an old copy in a book shop somewhere called "Nose tone unturned" by Aphabeck Lauder. The book is about the Australian Language and sayings. Australian is called "Strine" and the author is Australian for Alphabetical Order. Apart from "The Thick Plottens" my favourites were "Noppaird" which is what all Australians say when you ask them how they are (Not Bad) and "Big Horse Cart Major mine" which is what Australian's like to sing at Weddings (Because God Made You Mine) and so on.
I was given a book once when in London called "Friffleh" (Frightfully) which was the Bible of the "Sloan Rangers" (those residing in or frequenting areas around Sloan Square - they developed a language of their own that only they could understand) and the one that got me was "Hoss Chop Toffmeh" which, in plain English means "How Stupid of me"!
That was today's useless piece of information and I hope you enjoyed it.

Whatever sentence(time wise) he gets wont go down with many.

He already is now a convicted *****phile who has signed the sex offenders register. Does it get any worse ?

Not really. He's going down precisely because she wasn't 16, not because of a position of trust. I mean, if a 16 year old groupie ****ed a rock star, it wouldn't be a position of trust, nor illegal; it only applies to teachers, care workers etc.
