Had a cheese and mushroom for breakfast this morning, made by the landlady of a B&B I stayed in last night.

Very good too. Bit lacking in seasoning but the eggs were perfectly done.

Just had a Bacon and tomato one, ****ing lovely it was too. ****ing great inventions are omelettes, you can stick pretty much any filling in it and it tastes good, as long as you like the filling obviously.

...and eggs. It helps if you like eggs.

I returned home late yesterday evening after a chilly time on the sidelines watching young master RL play rugby football, poured a medicinal glass of red wine - a nice Merlot if I recall - and set to preparing a light supper of omelette with chicken and jalapeno - a spot of tabasco in the mix and some lightly toasted crusty bread on the side.

Imagine my horror on only discovering one single , solitary egg in the refrigerator. Certainly not enough for the preperation of any kind of omelette.

To be one egg short of an omelette is no life for any man.

my sympathies, I hope you can find the strength to pull through and enjoy the rest of your life despite this tragedy hanging over your head.

Like any good omelette connosieur I always have at least half a dozen eggs in the cupboard at any one time.

Only ****s and *****s don't keep a stock of eggs so they can make an omelette at any random time of day or night. :)

Another mushroom and cheese this morning.

By myself though, so was better than yesterday's.

The perfect breakfast.

Love the omeletteers title by the way. <ok>

<ok>

Should be a Pixar or Disney movie .... if only someone would write the screenplay

Anonymous Rangers fan gets himself noticed by posting a fairly interesting thread on a little used sports forum, revels in his 15 minutes of fame before sliding back into obscurity. I hear Spielberg is lined up to direct.

Cast TBC.
