This is why I can't stand the BBC. Two proposals of marriage covered here - the first is a gay couple, the second a hetero couple. Look how differently they are treated by dear old Auntie.

What's going on! Why are we winning so many medals? Have we got some wonder drug that passes all scrutiny? I'm very suspicious of all this.........

And in terms of our cyclists they gear themselves up for the Olympics not the world championships, so their focus and training is on that instead of other championships.
I for one am fully behind lottery funding for athletes as it gives them the facilities, training, and the people behind the scenes to enable them to be successful.

Yes, how it's an Olympic sport is beyond me, but there you go. Watching the modern pentathlon and it's got show jumping in it too

Bloody hockey girls are hard as nails, one just got smacked on the knee by the ball after a big yelp, gets up and carries on. If that was a footballer they would be screaming like a baby.
