Chuffed to bits for GB cycling excellent results across the board just would've loved Cav to have got gold too. But to get silver in addition to his success on the Tour confirms him as cycling's top sprinter.

A lot more gold medals are passed out to untraceable drugged up athletes than people caught doped up .
It ruins it for good , conscientious athletes and ruins it for fans .
And the problem is ....there is no turning back .
Enjoy yourselves and good for Great Britain , but I've watched very little and won't frankly .

I haven't watched any of the Olympics this time. It is so far from "the greatest show on Earth" that it claims to be.
I have read the news about it to keep in touch, but outside of 2 mins of men's pommel horse I haven't seen anything.
GB have won a lot of medals and a few in 'sports' like dressage - what a waste of time.

When I think of the Euros earlier this year, there is no comparison - even the Jonstone paint trophy carries more interest for me.

There's BMX cycling starting today and later in the week, cross-country mountain-biking.
How can you say that when you haven't watched it? As for dressage I am not a fan, but that is one medal out of 50 we have won, the games have been phenomenal this time round.

Disgusting that the crowd booed the French pole vaulter, he did nothing wrong just competed with the eventual Brazilian gold medalist chap. A complete lack of class!
Typical South American crowd though. Fair play means nothing. The way our 10Km swimmer was treated was disgusting. The boxing refs look well dodgy too. I'm amazed the games have gone as well as they have because some aspects of the games have been so poor.

Its just shocking what they are doing to people there, if this is what to be expected in South America I hope they never get another Olympics! As for the refs, they have been terrible in boxing.
The Olympics has been great, I have thoroughly enjoyed almost all of the events. And the Euro's were a little dire, just look at the England game against Iceland for example.
Yeah all the Portugal games were crap, even against Wales. I didn't watch all the games but I must say that the top sides in Europe were disappointing
