Bumped into some old faces at the weekend, got to talking about about brexit and the election. All the people there would be traditional or potential labour voters. An nhs worker, a council care manager, an ex teacher, an engineer.

Four out of the five of us said we couldn’t vote for corbyn. Only the retired schoolteacher was sure he was going to. Five out of the five us hated Johnson.

labour have no chance because they need voters like this, there’s enough of a core tory vote who don’t care who the leader is. whilst it’s hardly a statistically valid sample, it sums up the mood of people I speak to.

Seriously, I’ve never known an environment like it. Everybody feels stuck between a rock and a hard place. It’s going to be who you hate least.

Tony Blair made a similar point today. Not Mr popular but a guy who knew how to win an election.

It could be worse we could have the snivelling toad Sturgeon down here also. She took a right drubbing on an interview on the BBC tonight. If Salmond wasn't up to his neck in sex assault charges I would have expected him to run on and throw the white towel in.

It's not just about the leaders though is it. As if Commie Corbyn wasn't bad enough the Shadow Cabinet are either Marxists or thick as ****, or in most cases both.

Their policies are undeliverable and their MP's unelectable. Even long term Labour voters can see it.

The only twats left who'll vote for them are gullible brainwashed students and idiots who feel a strange sense of misguided cultural loyalty to them because their families over the years always voted Labour.

I don't disagree about the electability of Corbyn but most of his detractors rely on dragging up historical information about him! Remember what you are voting for isn't a beauty contest no matter how hard the media make it out to be one. As I have said before I do not like Johnson and so I am biased against him I see him as a charlatan who is only interested in feeding his own ego and a person who couldn't give a damn about anyone or anything else that doesn't serve that purpose.
Would you elect a PM in Aussie that has nothing but contempt for the country and people of Australia ? and neither will we.

Don't say you haven't been warned.

Do you know at Oxford people like Johnson, Mogg etc refer to state school students, who are good enough to get there, as "stains"

A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices. (Orwell)
Do you know that Leeds fans call all Manchester United fans scum, no matter how nice some may be.

He votes labour because he’s a nice guy and has a social conscience. That’s why most middle class snowflake lefty guardian readers vote labour. The selfish cnuts who think of their own wallet vote Tory.

Like me.

I like the idea of helping others, but when it comes down to practicalities I’d rather pay less tax and buy a flash car
