So this is pretty poor despite the lead. Ekitike has been the main man.
Classy celebration. Just cemented the crowd right then.
Wirtz has been absolutely woeful so far. A few passes the odd time but general lack of control and can't get on it.
Gampo is miles deep and not involved.
Salah just hanging out.

It’s game 1 in a new league in a team with 4 debutants. Lets at least give Wirtz 90 mins before slag off his performance shall we?
Do think Grav is a huge miss for tonight.
Just that control and calm would really help the likes of Wirtz
Just stating the fact of the matter. There's a huge difference between that and flagging the guy off.
He can't get into it so far.

Did wonder if Robbo should start this one. Kerkez seems a bit fired up - against old team just seems like too eager to impress.
Being brutally honest, I don't like Szoboszlai playing deep, but i get why he's playing there and hopefully he will improve in that role when he's required to play there

Well he’s not been woeful. He’s taken up some lovely positions away from players and picked up the ball and made a few decent passes through. Just got caught a couple of times where probably isn’t used to forwards closing him down
I expect Szob will be used more as a alternative/rest for Mac & Wirtz. In the pressing-creative mid role
