This guy is different level.

It is woeful for his standard.

A few decent passes isn't enough when you are going in as 10 to be the creative force.

He has to impose himself.
 
Frimpong a 6/10. He is what he is. A little competition but he is quite limited on the ball bar dribbling in the final third.

Kerkez has been up against it all game and targeted by long ball as well but he's also put himself in a bind throwing himself left and right.

Cbs have been OK but a bit lax as well. They still look like they are playing themselves in despite a full preseason.

Macallister is battling. Not easy with the lack of fitness.

Szoboszlai is the main man in midfield

Ekitike is the main man up top the others have not set thr world alight. Salah should have had a goal and assist there..should have passed late on for the break and Ekitike took that far post cross off him.
 
Ekitike is the first out and out centre forward we have had since Torres. He seems to be able to finish as well and as we usually create a lot of chances this bodes well. Kerkez has been crazy diving into tackles, does Slott gamble and keep him on and risk a red, or bring Robbo on in his place.

Wirtz has not really got into the game and the speed of the Prem may mean a couple of games before he adjusts and comes good.

Absolutely full on and even being called on it by carragehr and neville.

They know thry are being listened to but still feel thry can make up ****e to justify their actions after the fact.

Amazing behaviour tbh and it's actually worse than being incompetent, it is now willful dishonesty to cover their own howler.

to be fair. He’s missed 3 very good headed chances in the last game and a half so seems to be a bit of an issue. Bit only young plenty of time to improve

See if they said at time, too far from goal, no clear goal scoring chance I’d disagree but I’d understand it more. But fact at time carra said hadn’t mentioned anything like that (we have to take his word for it) then just nonsense.

It’s like they forgot to check the 2nd touch, then realised and released a revised statement at HT to cover themselves.
