Frimpong a 6/10. He is what he is. A little competition but he is quite limited on the ball bar dribbling in the final third. Kerkez has been up against it all game and targeted by long ball as well but he's also put himself in a bind throwing himself left and right. Cbs have been OK but a bit lax as well. They still look like they are playing themselves in despite a full preseason. Macallister is battling. Not easy with the lack of fitness. Szoboszlai is the main man in midfield Ekitike is the main man up top the others have not set thr world alight. Salah should have had a goal and assist there..should have passed late on for the break and Ekitike took that far post cross off him.
Ekitike is the first out and out centre forward we have had since Torres. He seems to be able to finish as well and as we usually create a lot of chances this bodes well. Kerkez has been crazy diving into tackles, does Slott gamble and keep him on and risk a red, or bring Robbo on in his place. Wirtz has not really got into the game and the speed of the Prem may mean a couple of games before he adjusts and comes good.
Var full on reinventing history to justify an absolute howler. Absolutely full on and even being called on it by carragehr and neville.
