Oh yeah ........ him

Flogging a dead horse, mate. In five minutes flat you'll have a dozen people on here telling you it's a lower league, he's past his best, he's lost a bit of pace, or whatever other half-baked reason they can dream up for not taking a seasoned striker on a six-month loan when we were short of goals.

This was 11.49 and the other 11 still haven't appeared .......... it;s now 1.25am, the longest ever five minutes <doh>

Am I understanding we've got calls that we should have signed bent because he grabbed a couple of championship goals? I've heard the same said when Fraser Campbell had grabbed a couple and even when John Stead scored the other day, christ we even had calls to bring back super Kev age 40. A pure sign of desperation is wanting to bring back the past to solve the future. <doh>

Have you ever thought that he might not want to come back? he left for a reason (probably greed) been there, done that, sort of thing. Very much doubt he would want to come back, even if Gus did want him.

We got our money's worth from Bent. He weighed in with plenty of goals for us when he was (arguably) at the peak of his career. We punted him on at a good profit, so no issues or animosity towards him.

I wouldn't have him back though. He looks to be in poor physical shape, and is on the slide to retirement

What's Milton Nunez up to these days?

I haven't commented on here for blinking ages, but I feel compelled to because of the unbelievable idiocy of one poster !

Is 'Relic' really as thick as he seems, is he pretending to be completely stupid, or is he too thick to realise that he's completely stupid <doh>

Hello fella, You may not remember me, had a thousand usernames across here and 606. Hope you're well.

Aye, he's a queer fish.

I am, thank you :emoticon-0105-wink:
I vaguely remember lots of posters, but only a chosen few clearly !
I recently decided to have another look at this site, and have been reading a few articles. I may well contribute regularly, depending on circumstances, so you might hear a lot more from me :emoticon-0111-blush
