This government has just installed an unelected Home Secretary.
    You couldn’t make it up.

Sunak is a Brexiteer - or used to be one. There aren’t many true believers still around who still think it’s great these days…..
As for Starmer - I don’t trust him but if he negotiates us back into Schengen then I’ll be happy. That’s my retirement in Spain fixed again after Brexit fkd it.

The Supreme Court ruling will be made tomorrow

If the result goes against the Government which is likely, Suella would have been much harder to sack and she would have pushed (correctly) for us to leave the ECHR along with other European countries

Jenrick want to leave but will be outnumbered

Suella spoke for the silent majority, while the hate marches and anti Semitism are almost encouraged and we continue to be invaded by unwanted aliens

The penny is finally beginning to drop in the rest of Europe with 11 countries wishing to stop free movement and re introduce border controls to stop illegal immigration and terrorism , just as we sack the person who might have given the Tories a glimmer at the next election and who was a true Conservative, not the globalist liberal that Sunak is.

I presume you are familiar with Crass?

Government is government and all government is force
Left or right, right or left, it takes the same old course
Oppression and restriction, regulation, rule and law

Decade by decade we are seeing the same old course. The course is accelerating now. Here in Bristol we have seen unprecedented change driven by Labour up rooting and destabilising the very people the party was formed to represent.

I work in BS8 Clifton posh, I live in BS4 South Bristol historically inhabited by working class socio economic groups of E, D, C2 and in the last twenty years the social change in the area I live has been astronomical, a social class is being removed, we could call it erased, or cleansed. Its just not the Tories doing that, its largely Labour. In minutes of my house there are huge building projects, thousands of flats and homes for the wealthy. Thousands upon thousands of flats and homes that the community that originally lived here cannot buy. Thousands upon thousands of flats and homes that will take unprecedented change and accelerate it to a level never seen in the history of Bristol. The authority over seeing this tsunami of change? Labour.

Oppression means unjust treatment. That is Labour taking our communities, our attachment to our communities, our sense of familiarity, our roots and deciding they change it all. Blame!

    Aberdude - Aberdare 84. Crass's last gig.

My introduction was in 1980 when they played at the New Trinity hall in Old Market Bristol. Terrible noise but a seismic gig in Bristol cultural history. The British Movement arrived at Temple Meads walking to the venue to attack the gig. They were ruined by a waiting mob of Bristol City fans including the comically named multi racial SPAM (St Pauls Aggro Merchants). New Trinity is metres away from a Police station, the Police never left the building maybe fearing they could set St Pauls off..

Ungovernable force .. Conflict. Terrible noise as well but not as terrible as Chaotic Discord, Chaos UK, Disorder .. Bristol really did terrible noize.

My young socialist self would not believe what the Labour party has become. Bristol is a Labour stronghold, and the party is making our lives worse. In power economically I see little difference to the Tories. Culturally Labour are frighteningly authoritarian. Woke Labour in power will wage their culture war and impose their identity politics on the working class the party has left.

I went to see the Angelic Upstarts in Trowbridge. It was like something from the Warriors. Gangs everywhere if you evaded the warring Skins the marauding gangs of Hells Angels and Mods mopped up escapees.

    Ah the eighties!

    Anok and peace 4u2 indeed.
