Renaults power unit teams still seem to be struggling. I can't see the FIA enforcing the engine freeze tomorrow for Renault!
But if Renault are allowed to continue development then Ferrari and Merc should also be allowed to continue development. It's not their fault Renault messed up so why should they have their engines frozen tomorrow when Renault can continue development while the fix their problems!

When ever Renault or Red Bull talk about the engine issues they always say it's not just one problem it's lots of minor things, which assists in persuading FIA that they need to develop all the power unit not just certain aspects for reliability!
So let all engine manufacturers develop before a freeze say at the beginning or summer break.
 
Mercedes probably asked Benson to put the 75hp rumour out there. Renault are already in trouble, so spread the rumours about Ferrari and keep the shareholders happy.

[h=2]FIA and Pirelli to monitor tyre temperatures[/h]Pirelli tested a new type of sensor in Bahrain which will be used to ensure teams do not over-heat their tyres before fitting them to the car.Stickers attached to the tyres will monitor the maximum surface temperature reached when teams warm their tyres in blankets.
“Pirelli prescribes a maximum temperature of 110C (230F), which should not be exceeded at any point before the tyre takes to the track,” Formula One’s official tyre supplier said in a statement.
“The FIA will ensure that this limit is respected, together with the minimum tyre pressures when leaving the pits and maximum camber levels on the track.”
The FIA will introduce a new rule next year banning the use of tyre warmers.

If Mercedes want to keep their shareholders happy, they just point to the laps completed and timesheets from the testing <ok>
 
Okay Forza, put all the bullshit and propaganda aside, where do you think Ferrari realistically are compared to Mercedes and McLaren?
 
Looks like it's going to be between Mercedes or McLaren. Though if Ferrari have the best car they walk away with the title don't rate the McLaren or Mercedes drivers compared to the Ferrari drivers.

Benson is a 100% clear cut Ferrari Alonso fan, if he says your in the **** it must be fact!

Oh wow an ((Italian)) said the 75bhp is off the mark, hell now I can sleep well knowing there is guy like him with his evidence to back it up like with all those 'facts' of those exotic engine materials existing...
 
No no Manny, its just a trick by Ferrari to keep Mercedes shareholders happy &#55357;&#56838;

in reality they are miles faster.
