A wheel hasn't yet turned in a race, we have still yet to see these cars truly opened up. There's no telling who will have the best car yet. When these Merc engines are run at full tilt, we may see them start to melt.

There's still many weeks until the season starts. :)

Red Bull had more drag because that's how they set their car up.

When, for example,. Webber had to start from the pit lane, and they took the wing levels down, it was as fast, if not more so, than the other top cars.

Actually, I was thinking that how well Vettel responds to a season of adversity could end up enhancing his reputation as a driver more than 'just' another WDC. Of course, how much this will mean to a stat-man like Seb is another matter. I presume he has his eye on eclipsing Schumi's five-in-a-row, at least.

Likely to see more mistakes when drivers are under pressure in a race. A cool head will be a good thing to have.

At least they will have got some aero data and around Jerez it probably wouldn't affect the corner speeds too much, just can't nail it on the straights
 
Waiting to see some engine blows, I imagine Merc and Feerari want to see how their engines deal with full whack. With only a hour to go it doesn't really matter if they do pop :D

My guess would be letting it run dry.

14:56 Scratch that, he's facing the wrong way. Looks like he's lost the rear of the MP4-29 coming through the left-hander. His car has rotated 180 degrees but is still on the tarmac, which means no damage.
