Surely Renault will pass all the info from the test to each team so they know what problems the others have had so they can make sure they apply the rigth fixes.

With the lack of running so far from Renault engined cars, I don't think Lotus are missing too much.

The thought crossed my mind, but as all teams are having different issues, either the engine is an absolute dog, or the problems are arising from how it's installed. That'll vary from car-to-car, so solutions on the Red Bull might not translate perfectly to the Lotus.

Commentary siad it wasn't sounding too healthy as it crossed the line, but surely they would have shut it down as the telemetary would have shown up something wrong if that were the case.

13:46 The Force India comes by the pits not sounding quite as healthy as it was.

and

13:47 Perez has stopped at Turn 1, so we've got a red flag. Small bit of smoke coming out the back too.

Well you can clearly see smoke at the front of the car as well as the middle plus I'm not following Autosport so I cant read what they know.
