it's not ****ty luck if you cock up your starts, it's poor clutch control, maybe he misses the engineers talking him through it
Considering how many years he's been racing and him being 3 times world champion and the fact that he speend two hours every couple of week driving a car at 200 mph within thousands of a second lap after lap, the chances of him or for that matter any driver on that grid having "****ty Clutch" control is pretty far fetched. just saying...
Let's all just be happy that he's mastered his rim and plank management
By that token, being one of the few people to have ever driven an F1 car, being plonked into the best team on the grid at the time and finding himself recently in one of the most dominant positions in F1 history hardly constitutes ****** luck, but you still said it.
I would probably give it till mid-Europe to see where Lewis Hamilton is. Lets watch how he deals with having to claw the title back into his corner. Should be a cracker of a season. Thing is Lewis has been embroiled in title battles nearly every season he has entered, so with his experience he shouldn't really have a problem getting back into it, barring any mechanicals.
I seem to recall the Mercedes pit wall constantly going through start procedures with him on the grid almost every race, pit-lane coaching is now banned and he's having bad starts every race.
I'm going to assume that English may not be your first language, what has having good or bad luck , got to do with having good clutch control??
These are all drivers of 200 Mph racing thoroughbreds, they drive them at those speeds lap after lap and they have been doing this for over 10 years in some cases, so the chances of any of them have "Sh*tty Clutch Control" is like saying that they are the same as a learner driver, that just not frankly believable.
Some cars are good at fast starts , the Ferraris especially seem to have superb launch control, but suggesting Hamilton after three years with the same car, suddenly doesn't know how to use the clutch without the engineers telling him what to do as Big Rn suggest is just f**king ******ed. Anyway we shall see in the Russian GP if he has learnt how to drive again![]()
