Oh and Sakho - made some great interceptions. There was one where Allen gave it away and a West Ham player was in space, but Sakho stuck out that long leg of his and cut it out. Handled pretty much everything in the air. Composed and his passing was top. Surely has to be starting from now on.
 
Sahko is an absolute monster. Has to be starting from here on in. Superb!

4-1 does not do our performance justice at all, as Dave said, sustained pressure for a good 80 minutes of the game, they couldn't get out of their third for one part of the game. And you know what, Suarez didn't have a great game. Others stood up.

Bring on Tottenham. <ok>
 
Good to hear Sakho & Allen had good games. Hope they get a decent run in the first team.

How did Skrtel play apart from the OG? Would still like to see Sakho & Agger start but if Skrtel played well on the whole then maybe deserves to keep his place for now.

It wasn't an awful performance. It was actually quite good from the team, except we couldn't score! Luckily they did that for us but I bet Mignolet is pissed. Can't keep a clean sheet and yet the goals don't seem to be his fault.

I'd give Suarez two today. The second one took a huge deflection but it would be unfair to call it an own goal. Usually deflections from shots aren't considered own goals, especially since it appeared to be going towards the vicinity of the goal.

Sakho's was going in anyway, I'd also give that one to him.
 
Thought Henderson was mint too. What's the news on Gerrard? Wasn't impressed with the way Lucas got caught dawdling for the first goal, but..... apart from missing sitters I thought Sterling was nearly back to last season. Should have gone down in the first half though, and that would've been Tompkins off.

Fat Sam's fat ****ing face at the end. Priceless. :D
 
As I've said, Sakho and Agger need to be our starting CBs and given a substantial run of games to gel. Toure is slow and old (even though he's experienced) and skrtel is showing why he was dropped last season, far far too many silly mistakes
 
Good to see a few starting to fall in line with me and wanting Skrtel dropped <whistle>

Couldn't do anything about the og, in my opinion. If he didn't go for it the player behind him scores. Just bad luck. Sakho is thebeast we've been looking for. STICK WITH HIM BRENDAN!
