Assiadi's goal was a cracker

 

Coutinho was our best player, imo. He ran the game

Good shout - think some of his passes were rusty and made the wrong decisions when it came to shooting but I'm just nit picking as he has such high standards.

 

So Assaidi did it against Chelsea.

Can Borini do it against Sunderland to help us out as well?!

If the Gunners beat Everton we're looking pretty solid in the top 4 with today's results

Very much so, his passing in and around the box was very good. Still plenty of room for improvement though.

If Gerrard is out Lucas Allen and Hendo against Spurs, lots of energy but maybe not enough craft Allen will have to play well again.

 

3rd poor performance in a row for me. I worry for the Tottenham game.

 

I is HAPPY. For the first time for many years I saw LFC put a team under constant controlled pressure. It took my mind back. We'll play a lot worse and win by the same score so that's what important!

 

JS I still don't think he'sa Liverpool player but I have to agree with you 100%

 

As the controller, he picked his passes very well, pressed well and was defensively excellent. Happy for the lad. Alongside a top DM, we could have a real strong midfield.

 

There were areas of concern but surely you can't call that a poor performance?

 

No doubt that he needs to improve but hopefully he will grow in confidence and improve.

 

Told you Allen would come good. I have faith in the guy and think he'll become a decent (never going to be world class) but a good option to have.

 

Defensively I though he made a few mistakes but further up the pitch he was very good.
