    No Holding or Tierney again.

Ozil not even on the bench - Xhaka king of sideways passes is back though.:emoticon-0138-think

    HT:
Bournmouth have been very slow playing out from midfield we've been able to capitalise on this and keep them pressed in their own half.

    Ceballos has been decent.

We wait almost a year for Emery to settle on a team and to stop tinkering he settles on THIS? Christ.

Sokratis has been terrible of late.

Not the best performance but we are up to 3rd.<applause>

Chambers and Guendouzi our best players.
Actually think David Luiz had a good game also.

I know we won, but I simply cannot be happy watching us right now. We are playing the most bland, sterile, bleak football I can remember.

It is hard to stomach. And if we get top 4 playing football like this, Emery's position still becomes untenable. We have no identity right now. We are consistently letting teams of lower calibre dominate us because we are always looking to retreat when we come under the slightest whiff of pressure. It's embarrassing that teams like Bournemouth and Burnley are coming to The Emirates with no fear because they know how to get at us, and how predictable we will be with our response.

We had a measly 8 shots in the first half when Bournemouth were absolutely awful/gifting us possession. We had 4 shots for the rest of the game. This is bang average from open play.

I am tired of having to watch Kolasinac screw up cross after cross when we have a more capable left-back on the bench.

Xhaka didn't do anything particularly wrong today, but his inclusion in the team does us no favours because he is in a position that requires good stamina, awareness and energy. He has none of those qualities, and it means the other players need to cover the ground that he isn't able to.

Results wise, we're not doing too bad. But let's not kid ourselves. Our points tally will drastically decline as the season goes on if we don't get our act together fast. We still have the same problems as last season.

Our season will unravel if we do not improve in all areas ASAP.

I agree with what most have said re today and previous PL performances this year. However, I do believe we will only improve once the International break is out the way. Tierney, Holding, Bellerin and hopefully Lacazette will ALL be ready to start. This can only improve the much needed defensive side and I do think we miss Lacazette.

The other positive after today is we are only 1 pt off 2nd spot and when you consider the mediocre start we have had I find this very encouraging.

Hope so - but just because they are ready doesn't mean Emery will play them.

I always look forward to watching Arsenal regardless of the situation but we play terrible football under Emery lets be honest.

Seriously not starting Tierney, Holding and Bellerin - How long have they been training for now?!
Ozil not even on the bench.

I dont understand the way his mind works.

Being so boring is the big problem I feel. How can such boring football also be so mind numbingly ineffective? It was pretty boring most of the time under Wenger in his last few years but this is just tedious and **** week in, week out.

well that was a frustrating result.

I dont think we were that poor defensively despite the fact we conceded - but we just didnt looks like scoring.

We looked like we werent up for it - like we didnt care.

the worst thing I can say though is this looked like the type of performance Wenger had toward the end of his tenure.
