I'm out of touch mate ........ I last worked full time in the UK around 15/20 years ago at Rock City, Nottingham.

There were around 20 of us, plus the Hells Angels, to deal with 2,000 excited/drunk/drugged up people, roughly what Hartlepool get on the terraces.

I was proud to work there and always call in, every Christmas, when I take my 3 sons to the panto at the Theatre Royal.

Despite being an owld bastard I'm always welcomed and treat like royalty .......... those lads have my utmost respect for the difficult job they have to do.

I'll always stick up for doormen and it upsets me when I hear that standards have slipped.

I think he is mate and the sad thing is, it's just banter on here and ****ing stupidity. If we were all homed robotically to just talk about the club then no doubt the man would have stayed. Shame, I remember him from the old bbd 606..
