Gravy mate cant get it here not like back home, proper bacon its so thin here you can read the paper through it, yorkshire puddings, mind beers better, and the lasses are fitter, ***s, spirits, wine, all cheaper here.
Christmas, its just not right to be sitting outside in the heat, with your Christmas dinner and nobody heard of parsnips or brussel sprouts etc
My lass makes her own gravy, so that's good. Yorkshires are a mare, i adore Yorkshires, and we can't even find a tin to cook them in here, the pub one's are dog ****e.
I'll be home for Christmas, but i fly back on the 27th for New Year, looking forward to that actually, even though i'll be working.
I had Marmite and Cadburys in my luggage at Perth airport, the customs man only asked one question , " Are you staying with an English family Sir ?". Looks like its compulsary when visiting exiled Poms to take chocolate with you.
BB, I wouldn't worry too much about missing Gregg's or Tesco's. The way they're both growing they will be on a corner near you soon! Mind you, having a Gregg's brings with it the charm of a geordie tracksuited slapper standing outside shoving a sausage roll into a 3-month-old-bairn's mush. Enjoy. x
That horrible, sort of "off-pink" colour to the shellsuit. The obviously dyed blonde hair - in a greasy, sweaty ponytail. The tattoos - oh, dont forget the tattoos! Massive round, fake gold earrings (on the bairn - not the mother) At a Greggs near you now. Don't get me wrong. Nobody loves a Greggs pasty more than me (if you saw me you would believe me) But you'll never get Elle McPherson endorsing them. x
How about Onion Bhaji, Chicken Tikka Madras, Naan bread and pilau rice? One other thing mature cheddar cheese (I wouldnt be able to live without cheese on toast).
