I've not seen those rumours tbh, I wouldn't know what a good deal was in all honesty.

A poor agreement just doesn't sound like this club at the moment, it's not like KLD just arrived.
All reports at the time said it was a fantastic commercial deal for 5 years (I think) there have been no indications otherwise. DB and the club seem to have parted mutually (if there has been a falling out at least it has been dealt with professionally) and it is obvious that DB has left the club in a much better state than when he found it.
I think there are obviously things happening in the background which may well become more apparent as the club moves forward. My hope is that the changes are good for the club and continue to move us forward whilst also maintaining the connection between the fans, the club and the area.
In truth it could be exciting or worrying times ahead and I sort of like the fact we don't know but are trusting KLD (the young lad hanging on his mams purse strings) to do the right things, whatever that may be.

I don't doubt it mate, I just can't imagine Bruce saying,
'Hi Kyril, did I mention I'd signed us up for a lengthy deal that's not great but the best I could manage'.

When every aspect of the club is worked out, even minor details, I really can't see it tbh.

No doubt it'll all come out though.
Think there is no smoke and no fire so somebody somewhere is rubbing sticks together to try and create a story

That is probably the fact of it. The club are now known to be very good at keeping control of news.

But, some of these bloggers, vloggers and the rest need to be noticed and heard, so they need lots of clicks and feels and touches and ticks and whatever else it is that gets the cash in. There has been no football for over two weeks, and a well known and well regarded man has left Sunderland. But there could be literally any number of reasons for this, and the stark fact is that we are not going to find them out.

For most, me definitely, I don't even want to know. But many of 'tinternet voices need to make out that they do know. That they, and only they, "have heard" something.

They haven't like. No one hears bugger all now! And a good thing too. Now, roll on Sunday.

Well said mate, we’re not entitled to know everything, it’s none of our business …

… it’s like the transfer window threads where people think they’re big ITKs if they post a story 3 minutes before the next ‘expert’.

In truth no one believes it until it’s on Sky or announced by the club.

That's it. None of our business. Interesting, but literally none of our business. Just like it was none of our business when we nearly went bust under the chancers.

Not our cash.

Seen this on Facebook and Twitter. Someone has taken the time and effort to document the locations of all of the personalised bricks at the SoL. If you aren't sure where yours is, you can scroll down the link and put the name in and it will tell you what panel, row and position the brick is in. Well done to whoever put it together.

If you sack someone you DONT expect them to integrate the replacement in by staying till the end of the season- sorry that is nonsensical. Bruce was a big player in the USA and I would not be surprised to see him return there and I am sure he will leave the club with everyone’s best wishes , in other words I think it is mutual parting of the ways he can walk away with his head held high .

Great to see. Thanks for posting.

I remember reading Jordan Hendersons book and as a young professional at SAFC he was disappointed in the levels of professionalism in the older players at the club. Good to see we have got rid of that culture.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Jordan return in some capacity in the future as he is in the same mindset as Xhaka et al in setting and driving the standards
