If they did more seats and that allowed them to lower costs of the entry level tickets and opened up the chance for folk who are priced out to go, that would be amazing.

Think we all braced for a £200 hike next year (based on early renewal this year) and while it’s fine for many, it’s also impossible for many.

Must admit I'm concerned about price hikes. It'll be a shame if it's priced out of what people can afford to pay, especially given the socioeconomic demographic of the local area.

I’m fortunate that I don’t have kids an such so it’s more a pain than a killer for me, but I know a bunch of lads who are concerned about how they renew 3-4 if that’s gonna cost them best part of a grand extra.

The club have always been great at keeping it available to many. Difficult step for them this one.

10k more seats at £450-500 and we season would bring in a lot extra. Gonna be a challenge for them to get pricing right don’t envy that work.

really hoping this line from the minutes means we got chance of longer payments plan

Seat Geek allows for additional transaction methods and a monthly payment plan option will be available

i know club said they are doing 6 payments but if there is another longer payment plan option it would helps lots out

I think a lot of folk I know who’d love to get to games and can’t would absolutely do it if could spread over 10-12 months.

The only issue is from the clubs side the guarantee on receiving them payments, that’s a real minefield.

Anyone done the non-auto renew thing yet? I see there is a massive online queue but I assume you can renew and pick up your "own" seat whenever in the next few weeks no dramas. Am I missing something, is there a reason to rush?

Got to front of queue and no drama, same seats waiting for me, modest price rise and so just renewed. Dead easy, bank details put in again for direct debit and email confirmation that it was all ordered. Top job on this by the club for something that could have been a right chew on imo.

I've had my renewed seat U5 row 28 £661 cancelled as they have quoted me the wrong price. I can reapply 5pm tomorrow possibly for £715. Not sure how much I paid the season before as I moved seat Aug 2024... possibly £570... am I being penalised for moving from row 9 to row 28? I have been a season ticket holder since Roker Park Main Stand Fulwell Wing 30 years ago. I can prove I've made payments to Sunderland AFC going back the years.
