Lush photos, love them.

just what was needed around the ground.

"Apart from all the transfer speculation we have tenders going out for the SOL extension, new merchandising, new club shop, new ticket office, new ticketing system, new hospitality, new away fan section, new stadium sound system, new seating, new, ah wtf ....
... it's all new, next thing we know they'll be building a new footbridge over the Wear and finishing the monorail from Consett."

Never dawned on me but a mate reckons she knows who's cutting the ribbon on the Keel Crossing ...

... I guessed Bob Murray and Quinn so I've only one guess left before I have to fork out a tenner.

Anyone know?

Why hasn't this been mentioned, it's a major project ...

... surely they'll have Sam Fender, Sarah Millican, Phil Brown or someone else from Shields <laugh>

Has anyone heard about who's opening the Keel Crossing ...

... someone clearly knows as it's only weeks away.

I'm being teased by a lass who insists she knows but is sworn to secrecy.

Is Ridley Scott available, she reckons he's local and was born in 1937 <laugh>

The only rumour I've heard is it's the King doing the official opening. Just a rumour, but if it's the same day as the Women's Rugby World Cup opening game and ceremony, it would make sense. But it could be someone putting 2 + 2 together and getting 17...

They're saying they know exactly who it is but are making me guess ...

... someone must know by now, it will need security, media, dignitaries, etc.

She's had me guessing all night!

Exactly <cheers>
Having said that, when I’m home I go to the match with my brother, who now lives in Whitley Bay and a few of his friends who are born and bred on the dark side of the Tyne <laugh> Good lads all of them.
