Believe me mate, I'd love to just post it but can't.

I had half the story from one person, a few years back now, and something I've been told recently makes me believe it. The two people definitely don't know each other personally and don't know I know the other. I've told one person, 'to put a marker down', but that's all. The trouble is people would pile in, as they did last time, and I wouldn't be able to prove it until it happens ...
... as that could be a couple or more years I'd just get the same shyte as last time.

All I'll say is that it would be exciting, if scary, news tinged with a bit of sadness and nothing to do with on the pitch stuff.

<whistle>

Like I said on the takeover rumour thread, I would be gutted if KLD left, 1st owner with a plan in my lifetime, he deserves to see us thrive in the premier league. That takes big money though and maybe he doesnt want the risk. Be a sad day when he leaves.

Ditto Speakman in a way. First backroom "footballing" person we've had at the club who's had a plan and a vision.

Ha, I did think of this post when I read the takeover rumour.
Feel free to kill the rumour by the way <laugh>

As I said mate, I've told one person and that's that.

There's no point me saying anything because the usual braying clowns will twist it all.

When 'Dell' had agreed to buy the club, but didn't because of Donald, many people said I'd been wrong ...

... it's generally accepted now that the Dell people had, in fact, agreed to buy the club.

I also posted things that seemed unlikely, at the time, regarding the club changing the badge, moving the shop/ticket office, the hospitality areas being totally changed and loads of other stuff. All of those things have happened, the most radical being the club badge, who'd have thought we'd ever see the old ship badge back?

I dropped in a joke about the club building a monorail, starting at the old Consett Iron Company sidings, and the imbeciles elsewhere took it seriously. Any time anything's mentioned about Dell, the same witless dopes bring that up as proof that I was wrong ...

... just wait til everyone sees it whizzing across the Wear and picking up people from the private airfield on the old dog track stadium <laugh>

Him and KLD have totally transformed the club and make us different, better in my opinion, than all the others ...

... I'd hate to see us become like Burnley or Luton who are just not fit for the Premier League despite being promoted.

I can enjoy stuff like this speculation. Even more so given we are actually in good hands anyway at the moment.

The best thing I can say about him is he’s very invisible, plenty of owners out there make it the “Owner Show” they are very emotional and reactive
He surrounded himself with the best people in their field, he has the best sitting around the boardroom table with him, vast amounts of knowledge. Bruce was a masterstroke, I have said it on here lots of times The Dreyfus Family do not accept failure, they want to be at the top table in everything they do.
I really hope they hang around for a few more years

Where do you think JS sits in all of this mate? He owns 36% of the club.

It's staggering how many people, on social media, want him and Speakman out in my opinion.

They've made the club worth three times what it was in three years ...

... where would we be after another three?

It's mental isn't it. What do they want?

Let's go back to the Short era and spend way beyond our means taking the club to the brink of oblivion. Or Methven where we sell off all our assets for pennies.

These people expect an owner to spend billions of their own money, totally oblivious to spending regulations or any long term goal.
