Tickets still need sorting out mind. Brother trying to buy 1 adult, 1 over 65 and two tickets for his 12 yr olds for reserves v Liverpool. Usual chew setting up accounts for everyone and networking etc. fair enough you might say. Then went to buy tickets, couldn't allocate as U16 tickets not for right age group when allocating to the bairns. Emailed ticket office and asked them to sort it. Got a response that he needed to select U14 tickets. Fine except U14 tickets not there as an option, they hadn't even looked.
Went back to them and said not there, can't select. responded sorry there now. Went to buy and add next day, same issue. Emailed again and told needs to select right age group, more back and to and eventually sorted. Took maybe 6 emails, loads of logging in, registering and futile attempts to buy over towards a week
In my opinion the whole thing is overengineered and I don't see what the benefit to the fans is. Why would you not allow an U16 ticket to be used by a 12 year old anyway, clue is in the name surely? If it costs more fine. In fact if you want to give them an adult ticket what's the problem?
Not at all convinced by this aspect and don't understand why it should be difficult to buy tickets for the match. When did home fans last cause any problems? What other justification is there for this shambles?
Feel like I'm ranting but seriously proper barriers to going to games and there's no need for it at all.
