Might be the case that Davison isn't so bad but had too much responsibility and wasn't in quite the right role. Presumably if we've kept him on he's earned it in some way.

I was thinking something similar myself, Nacho. There is plenty to have a go at Davison about but I bet he has done a lot of great work that is overlooked.
Maybe mate, though I think it's more likely he's "working his notice" and will announce he's "retiring" from his role in a few months. If that's the case it gives him a handover period to the new guy and let him get used to the job, and let's Davison leave with some dignity. But if you're right, maybe he has had too much responsibility and struggled, but has value doing a narrower set of responsibilities. I guess only the board will know for sure.
I've no idea really mate I was just thinking that people have said his past roles have been different to what he's doing now, and it's possible we're moving him to where he's more comfortable because we're happy with him in general.

Obviously disappointing to lose him after just one year but in a positive way it’s very pleasing to see that we are identifying, attracting and recruiting coaches that are held in such high esteem that they’re getting more high profile jobs so quickly.
(not saying Southampton are better than us etc, just that he’s taking their U21 PL2 manager position whereas he was “just” U18 manager here).

If you use WhatsApp you can 'follow' the club in there. They look like they are mainly posting stuff they are putting on twitter so it may be a reaction to the rumours about Musk making Twitter a paid for service for all users.
It's not like a normal WhatsApp group, everyone can't comment on what thw club put out as far as I can see.
It has the potential to be brilliant. I mainly use twitter for news and I hate getting sucked into discussion on there as I always end up regretting it. Being able to follow a few accounts to get crucial updates means I can likely leave twitter
Theyve been looking for a replacement for a while now, saw the role profile on LinkedIn a while ago
