Was about to say that Bournemouth had no other options, and luckily hit the jackpot in Howe. It also seems that Howe was very much a part of the club, having played and coached there before becoming manager. I'd be surprised if we managed to get the same out of this bloke, plus he would need a lot of time. But if he's more forward thinking that Slade and Trollope...

Why not after all he,s young ambitious highly qualified and has an association with the club. Lets stop with the BIG names and go with something a bit different.

Martinez not for me either Aber, I prefer the up and at them type of football not the tap it around between yourselves type.

Not been at my best last two months but a lot better now thanks.

Martinez is a no from me too. Other than winning the cup with Wigan, not had a great few years. Grave doubts over his defensive tactics.

Just announced that Flores is to leave Watford at end of season. Likely to be in demand across Europe. Would certainly do a good job for us and used to dealing with demanding owners.
 
I like him bfb but I wont be holding my breath that he would wont a job with the city whislt being in the championship
 
if its a challenge he`s after then Cardiff`s his oyster..........on a serious note I thought he did well this year with a club expected 2 come back down......always found he spoke well after games and all <ale>............b good if we could bribe him but im not sure even tan can get what he wants on this un

Dave Jones. every time, He did brilliantly with you last time even though he was hampered by Sam selling off his best players every season that Dave had to build the team from scratch....he always got you at the top until you bottled it I think he would do well working with tan. He has the experience you need...

Sam Hammam was replaced by Peter Ridsdale in 2006. Dave Jones was manager between 2005 - 2011.

Just noticed Trollope has gone down to 1/6 for the job.

I really hope that's not going to happen with Slade still there - I fear it's a recipe for staying as we are rather than moving forward.

Agree. Nothing would change.

He needs to move on with Young.

I couldn't care if we didn't get promoted, the PL is not all its made out to be. All I want is City to play exciting and entertaining football, not seen since Jonah's time.
