One of my first music interests was Buddy Holly. Lived a couple of doors down from a Holly fanatic when I was 10.

fair do. a friend was a big fan and lent me a box set when i was in my teens, so they're all instantly recognisable to me. psgm has its qualities.
 
His demise was inadvertently posted in the September thread but should have been posted in this one, Charles Aznavour died October 1st. For those of you of a certain vintage, don't these words just ring so true?
