If they're s**t, what does that make us!
They have a few good players but overall the are ****. I expect them to go down next year, were they are now is as far as there are ever gonna go. However they are in the top flight at the min and that's why he would chose them over us! we are better then them and I would call us an ok club at the min, but we have good potential unlike them!

Why don't they have a good potential, exactly? I reckon for once they might actually stay up for a while. They've got Woy and some pretty decent players, whereas we currently would struggle to form a good team considering we've just lost 9 players and replaced them with 2.

Martins was at Newcastle back in my uni days and I had a Geordie flatmate - he called him 'Overpaidy Martins'.

It was just a very vague article in the Sheffield Star, it hasn't been followed up by anyone else.

It was in The Mirror too - it linked us and Watford with him. It said Watford see him as a replacement for Danny Graham, but it says Sheff Utd are trying to hold out for £1million (no chance they'll get that!) He's also on £15k and they're desperate to get rid of his wages, so I imagine that fee will come down!

good potential is completely different than consistency which you are describing!

I wouldn't take him. Far too inconsistent. Only ever seems up for it against big teams. I doubt he would be up for trips to Donny, Peterborough etc.

who said anything about consistency? West Brom may be one of the most inconsistent teams on the planet but for once they have a bit of promise about them. In the past they've had players which are quality in the Championship and useless in the Premier League, and also have had an average manager. Now they have the likes of Roy Hodgson, along with players like Odemwingie, Dorrans, Shorey, Valero, Brunt, Pablo and Tchoyi, along with future stars like Chris Wood. And let's not forget Bo ;)

Am I still describing consistency?

As the resident Inter fan (former season ticket holder) I saw Martins play many times. Someone stated earlier that he had passport issues and he's likely to be between 26 and 36 - well that's true to a point but doesnt go far enough. He's more like 46 and is certainly over 40.

He is possibly the worst player ever to play fror Inter (and Ive seen Nelson Rivas play) and I did cartwheels the day we sold him to those mental Jawdies. He cant run, his arse is the width of a HGV and he's so unfit he has to shoot anytime the ball comes to him - no matter where on the pitch he is.

I dont think there is anything in this whatsoever and it would completely go against our stated policy on signing players, however IF it is true then lets just hope to God he is on a rolling easy-to-get-out-of-deal or it could rival James Bullshit in the bad signing dept.

Thats more like it! a proper response! Anyway my point was simple I see them coming down next year as they have allot of mediocre players! I agree they have one or two with good promise but feel they will lack the edge in the prem. Were as we will have a good shot at the playoffs and therefore are a club on the up unlike them who will be going down!
