CG, TWS fans who accused you of racism towards them might have a point, you seem to throw a paddy at anything irish related...

TWF - Your dislike of Reeves and Mortimer owt do do with them being smoggies? I can't stand em either tbh.

Friends I frigging hate, my daughters seemed to watch it continuously. Utter pap.

I honestly didn't realise Reeves and Mortimer were smoggie bastards.

I just find them painfully unfunny.

Anyone remember To The Manor Born? It was the proverbial steaming pile of manure.

the office did nothing for me.

anyone around in the 70s and 80s might recall some real dross. there was one called 'don't tell father' with fern britton's father in it. abysmal.

I've never got American sitcoms. Shows like Friends, Two and Half Men and Big Bang Theory just don't do it for me.

As for British I find Royal Family pretty bland.

god i missed this gem.

Anything starring a female comedian (not sexist, but they're ****e)
The big bang theory is dross
Little Britain was ****ing awful
South Park
Whatever that lee nelson **** is
more will come to me

for good i suppose

thick of it
i actually like the it crowd
there's an american one called parks and recreation that i like
and the classics obviously

Best - Early Doors, as perfect as it gets

Worst - Anything with Molly Sugden including that mental space one, Duck Patrol, Big Top.

"Derek" with Ricky Gervais has got to be the worst sitcom ever. I only saw brief extracts but they were cringeworthy!

Worst sitcom ever?

Anything with children in it trying to act, improvise or be cutsie. Adult only comedy please.

Anything were a woman is really a man dressed up. Including anything supposedly traditional and pantamimy.

Anything regional. ****ty accents and even ****tier stereotypes.

Anything American. Don't try to tell me that just because the scripts are written by a team of 300 Harvard graduates that it must be witty, pretty and sooooooo perceptive.

Anything on ITV.

Anything were the actors have long hair and wear loose fitting shirts.

Anything with a stereotypical camp or gay character.

Anything set in the future or the past.

Which leaves Bottom as the only sitcom of any value, ever made ever.

I don't laugh much.

Have to dissagree with the American thing Ernie, Cheers has been one of the best scripted comedies I've seen over the years, great characters with great storylines, although the spin off Frasier didn't do anything for me. But Bottom sure was manic and ace as for dross anyone mention On The Buses yet?

Couldn't stand The Catherine Tate Show or her, however she has grown on me following watching her in Doctor Who. As someone also mentioned I don't get how Americans are so crazy for Doctor Who and some British shows when they are very British in the way they are written. And I liked Eccleston, Tennant and Smith were good but Tom Baker was my Doctor

the majority of Python was crap , there was an abundance of ****e skits and silly animation that went on waaaay too long .
However Python also displayed some of the greatest comedy sketches too this day .
The greatest comedy movie And it had its fair share of satire and pathos is Life of Brian it is a total work of art .

Now at work last night i again had to suffer Big Bang theory , its got rat-tat-tat comedy , its written as if the audience are expected to nod off if a "joke isnt delivered within 3 seconds .
Infact i think 3 seconds is probably the maximum time between the canned laughter .

the episode i saw was the one where the tall skinny one gets burgled , gah! cue jokes about geeky things that got stolen
