It sounds like the Lance Armstrong/pro cycling drugs business is, in some ways, like the Jimmy Savile business... ....in that loads of people knew - but nobody said anything!
If it turns out to be true, then he committed perjury in a trial, by saying under oath that he never took or supplied performance enhancing drugs, then he could be looking at a lengthy jail sentence.
I saw the results of a US survey this morning, 50% of Americans said they didn't care if he did cheat and 80% thought he was innocent anyway. Deluded fools.
On those stats if it did go to court, then there is a good chance the jury would be part of the 80% and he would get off.

Well they reckon he's admitting it so he can compete in triathlons. Which is obviously a smokescreen so he can sign for the Rossonieri in time for the Champions league.
question: Lance Armstrong has cheated. He has given an amount of money to his cancer foundation from his winnings and sponserships. If the amount of money to the cancer foundation given by Armstrong found a cure a cancer, how would you feel about his cheating if it came to light that without the cheating he would not have had the results to earn the money to give to the foundation?
I heard something on 5Live about this. They said he may face claims to repay his winnings, he may face other civil claims from sponsors as he may have breached his sponsorship deals. He could also face a criminal prosecution for perjury, having previously said on oath in court that he did not take performance enhancing drugs. All of that to be able to take part in the New York marathon, triathlons and to aid his kids in their sports.
Well - the bullying macho twat finally admits it! But - note - he does it on 'Oprah' and not in a court of law, not to authorities. It's a case of "Yeah, I cheated and I lied. That's it. Now let's all move along..." He appears to be beyond the Statute of Limitations and to be just 'spinning' in order to start off on a new 'career'.
Does anyone know where I can watch the full interview online? I've had a quick look and not found anything yet. Ta!
