I have looked into that.

I currently have an XBOX 1 running MAME and it does a really good job but its not the same as a cabinet. I'm not confident of my ability to build a cab but buying a ready built one is tempting. Basically my gf has come into a little money and says I can spend a grand on a couple of machines. A coffee table style one would be cool too.
 
My main other activities are fencing (sport, not creating wooden barriers) and photography (mainly sports and motorsport).

Got back into photography after a bad knee injury in France a few years ago wrecked my competitive fencing
 
Outside I wander the hills or the shoreline of the Llŷn taking photographs as a serious hobby. More to home I am playing the drums (banished to the barns, wisely so) and when I am feeling really sedate I fire up Eve Online or work through some racing form books looking for new angles.

sorry but you sound very SAD!!! your missus has a fair bit of money so first thing you think of is buying a few computers, gay
 
Have you tried golf mate?? I am Head Golf Pro at a local Golf Club and I give lessons!! Special deal for Forum member!!

Its quite fashionable these days, not the game for old fuddy duddies it used to be...lol

And what should i be buying? This thread is about hobbies, I like video game, I dont see the problem. The fact that I have a missus should indicate how "gay" I am.

So what are your massively hetrosexual hobbies (other than watching 22 men in shorts like the rest of us of course).

I've tried it, I don't have the patience and it hurts my weakling back. Appreciate the offer bit I don't live up North :)

Crazy golf, on the other hand, is amazing.
