What usually happens with a lot of lower level league clubs. The owner puts a lot of money in, pays more wages and gets better players in.
Reins the money in ,better players leave. The team starts losing.
Happens at that level all the time.
If they'd Spennymoor, they'd probably not be in this position.
Kinnel, I've never met anyone from Spennymoor who could string two sentences together or walk in a straight line, never mind play football.

Ferriby are indeed ****ed. Although they have been since they got promoted. They have the smallest budget in the league, akin to that of Whitby or Matlock. Their attendance never went up despite promotion, I think it's a shame many people didn't bother going when City weren't playing, every little helps.

I'm sure it's the Allam's son-in-law Steve Forster who is married to the Allams daughter. Eman.
They are married, but Steve has funded it himself, Papa Allam hasn't put a cent in. If he had, there wouldn't be any of the problems there are now. It's a common misconception. Steve and Eman are really down to Earth people, but they really want to sell up, they don't believe they can go any further with it.
