I also nearly had to spend the night in the Fox and Coney when I got dropped off in South Cave and my other half couldn't get her car off the drive to pick me up.
I was hung over by time we got back .
Overall a **** day but one I'll always remember . It was my lads first away game as well .

The thing with the actual display is, as I said, the length. For all the effort I put in walking up there (with my wee cousin as well, who's only about 6) from Swinemoor Lane, such a short display just wasn't worth it. I needed a pint last time just because of the stress, so I had to dump said cousin on another relative. <laugh>

Not quite.

I used to work for Humberside IT Services and went in there once when they were running an campaign gathering signatures in favour of the abolition of Humberside County Council.

Fcuking cheek after all the cash we and other colleagues had spent in there!! Wanchors!
 
West Park in Goole is the biggest and best free event in East Yorkshire. Funfair and foodstalls open at 6.00pm. Parade of lanterns at about 7.00pm. Bonfire and fireworks from 7.30pm
 
I wouldn't bother with Beverley, the last one I went to there was pathetic, the fireworks lasted about thirty seconds.

Swanland's all right(not so good if it's pissing down, as has been mentioned) and there's usually quite a decent one at Ionians too.
