So a disappointing day takes a turn for the better.

At a do for our lasses parents and guess who walks in. Only Black Elvis. Setting up his equipment on the stage as we speak.

Looking forward to this.

Now sit down Chazz cos this is gonna excite you the most.................................. he's only working as security at Tesco's on Bricknell.


I s**t you not, I nearly dropped me Ginsters ham and mushroom slice when I saw him stood near the self service check out.

NATO jumper( in navy) and boots shiny as a pin.

He looked as smart as a carrot, shook my hand and everything.

He used to do it in the one on spring bank for quite a long while as well. Used to make my day every time
 
He just sat next to me before going on stage. Been chatting for a good half hour.

Star struck doesn't even start it.
 
In all seriousness, he really is a nice bloke.

I'd go for a pint with him any day of the week.

I've seen this chap swinging his hips in Tescos before, both Bricknell and, I am pretty sure, St Stephens.

My brother pointed out his propensity to be the King.

Not seen him do his Elvis myself though.

PS, if you see some **** doing a Robbie Williams sort of set, claiming also to be a 'comedian' at the same time, give him a fat lip.

I feel it's my duty to point out he also worked at the Tesco Express on Anlaby Road at one point.

And he was singing at the Christmas lights switch-on thing the other night.
