He was decent for us on loan a few years back.. I dont think Man U have got the best out of him over the years and maybe a change will benefit the bloke. Does he fit into Gus style?
Ener Valencia (not sure of the spelling there) does look like a good striker and is playing in one of the 'lower' leagues of world football. The papers say lots of clubs are sniffing around him but I'm not sure, worth a punt if he's going cheap as he looks like the type who could do well in the Prem.
He's had a good opening to the world cup. first thing his agent will have done on these performances is get in touch with the press and put him in the shop window. I don't think any of the clubs linked are actually interested, not to say they won't be, we get to see him play at least one more game so clubs will get another chance to look at him. If Ecuador go through then he really has the chance to force a big move.
