We have to win today mind. It’s an important game because Forrest are hurting. If we can get an early goal I think they will implode.

It won't surprise me if Forest cause us problems. I don't like the lack of pace in our full back positions.

You're right though a win is needed at this point, because Brighton away will be tough.

I think a realistic target this season is 6th. Anything better will be a bonus.

We have a better squad now but not a big one. Champions League is going to impact on things.
Yeah agree... 6th looks difficult tbh with Palace, Bournemouth looking very good but it's still possible Newcastle could have a good October to keep our hopes alive.

Pre season I said we'd finish top 8. Yes, we may have spent a lot, but so have many other clubs. We have the CL games to contend with and all that Isak nonsense totally disrupted our pre-season prep. I know some just assume we should be top 4 every year, but I still think top 8 will be a challenge this season as there are lots of good teams.

I would be very happy with 5/6 to 8th but any lower I would feel is a poor season. But with champions league it’s tough.

We're not far away, but this summer if we fail to get the champions league we'll see another big exit or two and then go from there.

Things are likely to get worse before it's gets better.

Tonali is the one we need to keep. He’s arguably the best player at the club.

He'll go as soon as the opportunity arrives unfortunately. The Isak situation has reminded us that we're still food for the big clubs.

The thing is people keep carrying on like players aren't replacable, but they always are.

They are but we’ve not been particularly good at that lately.

I think we'll learn from the Isak fiasco. All clubs sell big players at some point, so it's then about how you deal with it and use the funds to help improve the club. I think we'll be better placed to do that more effectively now.

Err yeah they can be improved upon, but that could be said about players in any team in the world apart from Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, City and a few others.

Burn was player of the year last season, Murphy had the season of his life last season, Gordon is scoring for fun at the moment, and Barnes scored within 5 minutes of coming on it the last game.

You've weirdly lumped Willock in amongst our main players.

All those players with the exception of Gordon need replacing without a shadow of doubt.. Gordon is the only one that's in a way questionable
