really, all people ?, not just a select few?
saw a photo of Lewis Hamilton and his personalized face mask … looks a real tw*t. I wonder if actually cares about poor white/ethnic/ Asian groups that are and have been victimized moreso than pre 19th century tribes people from Africa. I also wonder having watched enslaved if his ancestors were victims or aggressors, that is sold fellow tribes people into slavery!

So - we shut down the hospitality industry to combat COVID - the source of 4% of the spread - whilst schools and educational establishments which are the source of 50% stay open for business!!!
Yeah Boris (Cummings) is doing a GREAT job.

But they all wanted to do that, Not sure Boris is to blame....The whole thing IMO is a farce, either lockdown properly or let the vulnerable shield and we all get on with it..

What is the statistics if you remove pubs from the hospitality? I suspect if you looked at pubs and clubs alone then it would be a big jump. Restaurants are driving down that figure to 4%.

Well it's quite obvious what those people think of all this lockdown and how it affects them!! Mind you, if I was that age, I'd probably be doing the same. If you are allowed to attend school carrying the virus, what's the difference between that and going to a rave......You're only young once!!

My wife and I and 2 children were brought up to respect the sanctity of life and respect for others, believe me I am no angel far from it, but I am at an age where making it to the next birthday is another sigh of relief and my next birthday is lockdown day Thursday 5th November, celebration at home me, Mrs Jiffie and our 2 dogs, but the way some people are acting is truly self entitled, selfish, dangerous and criminal.

To let you into a little secret my eldest granddaughter is about to give birth anytime this week (fingers crossed for the same birthday as me) so we are about to become great parents, we know it's going to be a boy and we know it's going to be named after my dad and Mrs Jiffies dad and god knows how long it will be before will be able to see it in person, so another sigh of relief on the horizon.

The worrying thing is my granddaughter who is an intensive care nurse for the NHS is receiving little if any support from her midwife or consultant, some consultants seem to be playing Russian roulette with peoples lives.

I admit you are only young once and good luck to all young folk but they should also be advised that you only die once and that's it, so be careful.

4 to 500 people there. Bottles and bricks thrown at police and there was 2 arrest.

    That will teach them

think you are way off the mark … I used to go to a pub once sometimes 2 different in a week 1 got so out of hand we stopped .. drunks have no boundaries...
Daughter who has been far from an angel throughout [ mixed with most of her friends families] and took care with immediate family! went for a meal Friday night in town, was horrified at 1015 to be amongst a massive crowd of drunken idiots all leaving pubs at 10pm with glasses / bottles of booze etc and SD WAS non existent, she said it 5x was worse than leaving the city stadium after 25,000 crowd had been in attendance.
on paper likely 1 in 20 of them carried it?

As seems usual these days though Jif, is a lack of intelligence about a significant illegal event occurring relatively close to the city centre. I was under the impression that, because of a lack of resources, much of the policing these days is intel led. Obviously that isn't the case!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a pop at the guys and girls on the front line, but one would think that something of this nature should be easily identifiable with the technological resources available to the organisation/state. Yet again, it seems to be a reactive response to the situation as opposed to a proactive one and it isn't the first such occasion recently.

I'm pretty damn sure it wont be the last!!

The police have been reactive now for many years and that will get much worse, in some cases they will not even attend ongoing situations unless there is an immediate risk to life or of course it involves a fellow hand gripper.

PS:- I am going to PM you.

The younger ones in many countries have no sense of the repercussions from their stupidity but I bet if you told them you were on your way over to kill their grandparents they may take notice. You can't legislate against stupidity has often been said but these idiots will never consider logic and the welfare of others because it might limit their party time. Please will someone do whatever is necessary to stop these morons and if that means locking them up then so be it, and perhaps the possibility of getting a criminal record rather than a university degree might wake them up once and for all. They don't furnish party hats at funerals you idiots.:emoticon-0121-angry

But schools are allowed to carry on even though they are a high percentage that go around spreading the virus....I know one is legal but the other isn't but as far as the virus is concerned what is the difference?

This sort of proves no one truly knows, what is best.

The official line for labour is they will support the government on their latest measures, especially the schools part but I don't think in reality every MP will.

I think that Uni's are the bigger problem, because of course the entitled must party.
