Thanks. I tried to wrap all of the true feelings that had built up over recent months and tell Joe the full story, so that he could understand the balanced and considered view of the fans. Hoping he could then consider, discuss and take forward these opinions to make both immediate and long term improvements for the good of the club.
I then converted all those considered views into a single compelling message that would resonate with him, using language I thought he might relate to.
I cant see the point of having a go at Kinnear.
If anyone seriously thinks he making decisions on transfers in or out, they are naïve imo.
He's there as a punch bag for Ashley and to take the heat off Pards.

In terms of the club and the Cabaye money I am happy to wait till the summer to pass judgment on how the money was spent (or not). I'd have loved a big signing of a quality player but i'm relieve ed we don't have a big panic signing of a mediocre player on big wages.
In terms of JFK I can't understand what he does. Perhaps he has been busy in the background and it will come out in the summer, but if so we can't see it yet. What we do see is that he's collected a hell of a pay packet to spend Mike's money, and in that year I've spent more on electricity to charge my laptop than he has spent on bringing in permanent transfers.

How the fowards are going to get their scoring opportunities will be interesting.
Although we had to wait, the AC fee was spent the following window on Mbiwa, Sissoko, Gouffran etc. I'd hazard a guess the cabaye cash will do so also. I just wish we'd be more prepared for outgoings.

You and everyone else. If Kinnear is all that his big mouth says he is, then I would expect to see some evidence of work on his part by now. The fact that we haven't just goes to show we really can not trust a word that comes out of that man's mouth ("No players will leave in this window" etc).
The Cabaye money should have been spent on a replacement in this window. If I can anticipate a bid coming in for Cabaye this window, and his past behaviour has given a sneaking inkling that he wanted to move on, then I expect Ashley/Kinnear/Pards to be able to do the same. I also expect a Plan B which involves the clear identification of the replacement should the bid come in and the player leave, but there doesn't really seem to have been a Plan A let alone a Plan B.
As a mackem totally in peace this is spot on reedio. Ashley wants pressure off himself and so brings in gobshite to take the flak. I laugh at it from our perspective but know how pissed off I would be if our owner did the same
