I'd be up for that (would still need to get a ticket for the game, though - hopefully my mate who's a season ticket holder will assist), but I imagine we won't be the only ones there, so we'd need some kind of ID - perhaps NOT wearing a Saints shirt? :emoticon-0105-wink:
Would still be up for a curry one evening though, if anyone's interested.

Why not wear a QPR shirt? You'd stand out then :)

Wunderbar is closed for the foreseeable, licence issues apparently, probably the music side as that is expensive.

Mallards or fat sams is probably the only options now

Or a Pompey shirt, but I'd probably get more than a beer :emoticon-0105-wink:

No it was shut because the Council, after the police raided the Stones Cross and found drugs, decided that every music venue in Midsomer Norton had to have 3 security guards on at all events. This was what shut a venue which had been open without trouble of any kind for over 20 years. Anyway I think some sort of compromise has been agreed because it looks like it could reopen soon. <ok>

That's good news Chilco, it's my son's favourite haunt so it'll give me an excuse to go over to Somerset again and make him buy me beer.

Have a saints top, and beer in left hand+?

Actually there's a pub by Woolston St that is usually pretty empty, but still a short walk to ground.

I didn't say they were good options. Some of the other pubs in the town are so quiet, you could die whilst propping up the bar, and nobody would notice till they go to lock up.

I don't mind where we go as long as they serve Horlicks after 8 o'clock.

I expect its named after the speakeasy from bugsy Malone, although thank god the place isn't themed. I can imagine a fat Sam's with a west ham connection though, just one lager on tap, slightly luke warm when poured and a sense of absolute misery in the atmosphere.

I like the fact that inviting a Leeds fan is considered more extreme than inviting a Portsmouth fan <laugh>

I fancy representing DE7 but only before or after a home game. Great idea though!
