It's another cheap option, can see us getting pipped with a club who are serious about buying him.

This! Buying him now is a big gamble. But a loan deal with a 'first dibs' option to buy if it works out is very sensible business to me.

And this! If we bolster the strike force with these two and keep the rest of the squad, we will be strong. Yes, in the ideal world we'd get a another defender and a winger who can beat players and cross, but attacking options is our top, top priority.
 
Rumour has it that, had QPR been able to sign Hooper, Remy would be as good as done. Could be a sticky final month. If we can quickly nail these two, anything on top is icing on the cake.
 
With his upcoming court case I can see that a loan deal is the best way to bring in Remy.

But, given Ashley's stance on incoming loan deals, I'm surprised its being considered unless there is the option of signing him after the case is over, perhaps in January.

I'd like both. I still think a natural number 10 would suit Cisse best but I suppose they are difficult to get hold of.
